Board Positions and Benefits

There are several Vice President and Director positions on the ISES Vancouver Board of Directors. These positions are organized in several departments. All the departments work together throughout the year to carry out ISES events and services. ISES Vancouver plans monthly meetings which include catering, entertainment, décor, audio visual, and logistical feats provided by our ISES members. The VP of Programs is responsible for the logistics of monthly program meetings including site selection, food & beverage, theme, décor, entertainment, etc. for ISES Vancouver. This position is assisted by Programs Directors and works closely with the all members on the Board, reporting to President of ISES Vancouver and Board of Directors.”

Buffet Blowout
“Buffet Blowout is ISES’ signature event. Students from Langara College’s Display + Design Program work with ISES suppliers to develop a design, display, and culinary showcase. At this event the students - and their ideas - are introduced to ISES members and the event industry. As Co-Directors of Buffet Blowout, you liaise with several key ISES members to plan and promote this March event. See how the ideas and concepts take shape! As an ISES Director I got to know several ISES members through the planning of Buffet Blowout and participating in the Board activities. Being a part of the ISES membership is great, but volunteering on the Board is a more personal, powerful way to develop relationships.”
