The ISES Esprit 2007 Awards
Nomination deadline May 1, 2007
Were you a driving force behind an outstanding event last year? Did your design, marketing idea, technical production or creative insight put the event over the top? If so now is the time to put together your application for an Esprit Award. Showcase what you have done locally to the world. The ISES Esprit Awards recognize the exceptional event accomplishments of ISES members. The Esprit Awards Gala takes place on August 18, 2007 at ISES Eventworld in Montreal. Qualified events must have held between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006. To find out more and to download an application to submit your event, go to www.ises.com.

The nomination committee has been formed. Members will be receiving information shortly by e-mail and post to vote for your 2007/2008 ISES Vancouver Board.

Culinary Capers has re-joined ISES. Welcome back to a long time member! As you may remember, Culinary Capers catered our February 21 Venues event at the BC Sports Hall of Fame.

Currently there are over 1000 children in BC on a waiting list for a family. These children are in the foster care system and are desperate to find a place they can call home. For 30 years, it has been our mission to find a home for every child in the province, and abroad, and to support all families throughout the adoption process.

We work hard to provide a future and hope for so many children in need and believe that adoption builds stronger, healthier communities. With 3 in 5 people touched by adoption, we need the support of caring community members like you more than ever.
